The Counsel Room used by members of the Nauru Law Society has been fully refurbished through the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with funding from the Government of Australia.
The refurbishment included the provision of new office furniture, video conferencing facilities, a television, and other essential equipment to create a modern and functional working environment for legal practitioners.
This upgraded space provides a dedicated venue for lawyers to meet, conduct research, participate in online hearings, and attend virtual training and conferences. The refurbishment demonstrates ongoing support for strengthening the legal profession’s infrastructure and enhancing access to justice in Nauru.
